Corporate Responsibility in Environmental Protection

The environment has been changed due to human or natural changes, causing many disasters. Environmental protection has become a corporate responsibility and obligation for sustainable operations. CRP, as a member of a global enterprise, should improve itself and adopt the spirit of continuous improvement to achieve the environmental protection goal of zero pollution.

Green production

Our production uses a higher-cost water-based process to reduce the environmental damage caused by volatile substances produced in the oil-based processing process. In terms of raw materials, we use well-managed FSCTM certified forests and other controlled sources, and obtain FSCTM COC certification for our products (License Code: FSC-C118122, welcome to inquire about FSCTM certified products); in addition, we also use PEFC certified pulp, and Non-azo dyes, developing products that comply with REACH standards. In terms of manufacturing processes, we continue to promote waste reduction and energy conservation improvement plans.

Development of non-wood fiber products

Our Paper is based on handmade paper and has long-term investment in fiber research. It is one of the few paper mills in the world that uses a variety of non-wood fibers to reduce the use of wood pulp.

Develop environmentally friendly products

The company continues to assist customers in developing and improving products that meet the environmental requirements of final products, such as developing lightweight paper (high bulk) and high-tech paper materials for environmentally friendly industries.

Practices for Promoting Green Development

Environmental Sustainability Initiatives

Raw material management

Raw material management is crucial in sustainable development. Through the principles of circular economy, we maximize resource reuse and reduce environmental impact. Transparent supply chain management ensures that raw materials meet environmental and social standards, creates a sustainable business model, and maintains ecological balance.

Carbon management

We actively conduct carbon footprint assessments, optimize energy use in the production process, and set carbon emission reduction targets. By investing in renewable energy, such as biomass energy, to replace traditional energy sources, we can reduce greenhouse gas emissions and enhance our sustainable business image.

Energy management

We focus on improving energy efficiency and introducing advanced technologies such as energy recovery systems to minimize energy waste in the production process. And through the application of renewable energy, such as solar energy, we can realize the use of green energy and reduce the impact on the environment.

Water resources management

We ensure the sustainable use of water resources. Our paper mills introduce advanced water-saving technologies, establish water circulation systems, monitor water quality and actively participate in water source protection plans. This helps reduce the impact on local water resources while maintaining the stability of production activities.

Waste management

We are committed to reducing waste in the manufacturing process by improving production processes, promoting waste reduction policies, and implementing recycling and recycling programs to minimize our impact on the environment while complying with relevant environmental regulations.

Air quality management

We implement cleaner production measures, including the use of low-pollution production technologies and equipment, and regular air monitoring to reduce gas and particle emissions. This helps ensure the health of employees and surrounding community residents, while achieving environmental and sustainable development goals.

Corporate Responsibility in Environmental Protection

Give back to the hometown

Recently, the environment has changed due to both human activities and natural alterations, leading to numerous disasters. Environmental protection has become an obligation that enterprises must fulfill as part of their responsibility for sustainable operations. As a member of the global community, Zhongri Specialty Paper is committed to self-improvement and the spirit of continuous improvement, striving to achieve the goal of zero pollution for environmental protection.
